Autorenporträt
Iris was born in England and completed her education in Canada. Always eager to learn and experience new ways of being, she spent her working life as a bank clerk, a registered, nurse, an adult educator and a realtor. Raising three children and marrying twice, having a menagerie of pets, attending university while working full-time, and volunteering may have been exhausting at times, but this plucky woman didn't stop once retired. Finally having time to pursue cherished dreams, she knitted, read, cared for grandchildren, moved to a foreign country, learned Spanish and started to write. The result was this book. Her favourite authors? Erma Bombeck, P.D. James, and Ian Rankin.
