"I hope the sun shined for you today. I hope you smiled, and I hope this letter finds you well. -Clementine" November, 1959

On her 16th birthday, Clementine wrote a letter. She sealed it in a bottle and sent it floating into the ocean. In hopes that her words of inspiration would bring good luck, according to the Collins family tradition. But what Clementine didn't expect, was that someone would find her letter a year later, and do the unthinkable...Write back. December 1960; After his younger brother's sudden death, a grief-stricken and suicidal young man finds an old bottle washed ashore on abeach-a bottle with a letter inside. Feeling alone with no one to turn to, 17-year-old Daniel finds comfort in Clementine's words. Hoping to find a new friend in this stranger, he writes back. 'P.S. I Hope This Finds You' is an epistolary-style historical romance told through letters, as a message in a bottle will take two people on an unsuspecting journey through friendship and love. As they find their way to each other despite time, distance, and all of life's challenges keeping them apart.
