Autorenporträt
Robert K Maddock Jr. has a love of history. He graduated from St George's School, Middle Town, Rhode Island '52, and Stanford University with a BA, '56. He is a Captain USMCR with active service and reserve duty ('56-'65) part of which was in the Middle East. He graduated from the University of Virginia with an MD '62. He, did 5 years post graduate training at University of Utah College of Medicine and University Hospitals of Cleveland, was full time faculty 3 years and eventually Adjunct Professor of Medicine (U of Utah) and Fellow in the American College of Physicians. His wife, Raija Pönkänen RN,FNP, is illustrator. Combined they have reared 9 children.
