Produktbeschreibung
The world of the Inuit had always been stable, and they were a peaceful people that were content to live their lives in the way that they had since they, the people of land, had been created.

Inuit Child was one of their shamans. She lived and was a spirit person, and when necessary, she could change into the feared and respected polar bear spirit known to the Inuit as One Who Walks Alone. She was born many years ago to her mother Tupilek, the first wife of Amak.

They all watched in awe as Inuit Child's paw came out of her mother and then withdrew; a few moments later, as her mother pushed hard, she was born as a polar bear cub. She made her way to her mother's breast and suckled. As she suckled, the babe turned back into her human form. Why and for what was she born in this manner? Her time here was for her people, was in the years of the far past.

Since the beginning of time the whales of the seas had migrated past their land's shores. These whales gave willingly of their spirits and flesh to these unthankful peoples but the lands and seas of the Europeans had over harvested their pods of whales, and the greed and misuse of this important resource by the Europeans was the cause that had displeased Sedna the Inuit deity of the sea animals. It was her wish that the whale pods of the Europeans should be no more.

The Europeans had mighty ships that had tall wooden masts which carried great sails that caught the wind, and they could venture far from their own shores., It was thus that the great rape of the Inuit peoples and their ways of life caused the need of the powerful and feared one called Inuit Child to be as one spirit with one known as One Who Walks Alone.
