Autorenporträt
C. L. Thornton was born and educated in . He is a proud product of the St. Louis Public School System; the University of Missouri (B.S.) and Webster College (M.A.). He entered the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I) as a Special Agent in 1979, and enjoyed an unblemished career, retiring in 2001. is married with three adult children and two granddaughters. The editor of this work is his youngest daughter, Christy Marie Thornton, a graduate of the University of Houston (B.A.).
