The themes of the fables deal with the necessary changes we all must go through in our lives. By showing the effects of change in humans, animals, and even in normally inanimate objects such as lighthouses, we encourage children to think of themselves as part of nature, to care for it, and to think about the ways in which we all interact with the world and with each other. Whilst they are designed to be read to small children and for older children to read by themselves. In the schools, the fables have been used as educational teaching materials that serve the learning experience and the understanding of the relationships between man and nature. The respon-sibility for each other is evident in all fables. The rainbow serves as symbol of hope and the power of implementation.

Autorenporträt

Christa Muths ist gelernte Köchin, Verwaltungsinspektorin, Sozialarbeiterin, Sozialwissenschaftlerin und Autorin. Sie war an der Fachhochschule Darmstadt Dozentin für Soziologie and Praxisanleitung bevor sie 1980 nach England übersiedelte. 1982 gründete sie in England das Ausbildungsinstitut espacio, welches sie bis 2012 leitete. Sie ist Pinonierin im Bereich der Farbtherapie. Ihr erstes Lehrbuch mit dem Titel "Farbtherapie" erschien 1989 und wurde bis 2012 neu aufgelegt. Sie hat insgesamt bisher 8 Bücher und weltweit unzählige Artikel veröffentlicht. Während ihrer Zeit in England arbeitete sie auch als Storytellerin in verschiedenen Ländern. Ihre Interessen sind: soziale Wissenschaften, Politik, Geschichte, Ökologie, Quantumphysik, Literatur, Kunst und Musik. Seit 2007 lebt sie in Spanien, in der Nähe von Valencia auf einer Finca in den Bergen. Ihr Buch über den Alltag von Widerstandskämpfern im 3. Reich wird 2014 veröffentlicht werden.
