Miller is the author of three true crime books, including the Edgar-finalist Girl, Wanted: The Search for Sarah Pender. He is also the author of Detroit Rock City: The Uncensored History of Rock 'N' Roll in America's Loudest City and coeditor of Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone.
