Oregon native Cheryl Hill is a photographer and hiker who has been visiting the Mount Hood National Forest ever since she was a child. A lifelong history buff, she is the author of a blog on Mount Hood history and works as a librarian in the Portland area. The photographs in this book come from the collections of the US Forest Service and other organizations.
