Autorenporträt
Debbie Dee was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Debbie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College (Missouri) and a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of La Verne (California).

When Debbie Dee was in fourth grade, her teacher asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up. Debbie responded with, "I want to be a secretary or an artist." While neither profession materialized, she always knew she wanted to help people. Instead, Debbie Dee proudly became an elementary school counselor. "Ms. Dee" as she is so lovingly called by her students has been a school counselor for over 20 years.

Debbie Dee is an active member in her community where she hosts local toy drives for disadvantaged youth and raises funds for various causes. She has run two marathons and enjoys traveling domestically and internationally. Debbie Dee is a member of several organizations including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, California Association of School Counselors (CASC) and American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
