Nitha Ann Nebbitt is a long-time resident of the Puget Sound area. She is an avid artist who enjoys using a variety of media. Nitha derived inspiration for this story from having had a pet rat. As a child, she enjoyed happy times on the Mississippi River at Harpers Ferry, Iowa. She and her husband have one son.
