Rex Hamann resides with his wife, Keitha, and their two cats in Andover, Minnesota. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Hamann is a former public school teacher who developed his interest in the old American Association while exploring the Milwaukee Brewers as a resident of that city during the 1990s. He continues to research key issues in American Association history, publishing them in the American Association Almanac and almanacfield.com.
