The first volume "Migration and integration research - multidisciplinary perspectives" is the opener for the "Migration and Integration" series and aims at a disciplinary reintegration of relevant research. Many disciplines are concerned with migration and integration processes from various perspectives, with different methods and theoretical concepts. There is a lack of transdisciplinary cooperation for clarification of concepts, theory development and empirical evidence.
