Philip Kretsedemas is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Jorge Capetillo-Ponce is presently Director of Latino Studies, Associate Professor of Sociology and Research Associate at the Mauricio Gaston Institute at University of Massachusetts-Boston. Glenn Jacobs is Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts-Boston and head of the Umass-Boston, Trotter Institute research consortium on immigrant community-based organizations.
