In the proximity of the human the alien utilizes telepathic abilities to discover what the man is thinking and what is in his heart and why he has his love for the birds.

That encounter resulted in the Earth Person offered the opportunity to travel with the Aliens back to their home planet and experience life in advanced culture in one of the most powerful empires in the galaxy.
