Earl Snort is the nom de plume' of a retired law enforcement officer with more than forty years' experience toting a badge and a gun.Before that, he served in the armed forces.He and his wife have been married nearly fifty years. They reside in the South. They have one son, also a career law enforcement officer, and two grandchildren.This is the author's first foray into the world of writing fiction.
