Hopefully it will also help bridge the gap of understanding of God during the age of accountability in the lives of young adolescents. Original oil paintings by the author are included.

Diane Barrett James, a retired middle school ELA teacher of thirty-three years, enjoys writing Christian narrative poetry for young readers. Her motivation is a desire to encourage youth to learn about and seek the living God. A resident of Louisiana, she has two sons and two grandchildren.
