Autorenporträt

Lavender "Deeno" Longstaff was my mother. She was born, 1924, in England and moved to Canada in the late 1940's. This is her story of taking the train across the huge width of Canada and then, her life in a log cabin in the interior of British Columbia. She is from a family of writers and her observations are keen, intriguing and fun to read. In the near future, 'The Land is Bright' will be published in print.
