Her name is changed to Pam while she is on land, and she helps many ladies, especially those with breast cancer. Near the end of the book, God calls her home. She meets Bob Parrish, and he flies her home. Also at the end of the book are three fun short stories that are a mix of fiction and true stories.

Life is constantly changing for Bren. Her oncology doctor said she is a bit of a miracle. In 2004, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through the years, she has had surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. And then a second round of cancer came, and the process started again. The years between her treatments were many, and she filled part of that time painting in an oncology waiting room, giving paintings to cancer patients, teaching basic painting, answering their questions from her experiences, and making many friends along with fulfillment that she has helped in some small way. This has given her life new meaning and purpose and given her own journey unexpected blessings. She has previously authored a book called From Surrender to Survivor. This book details her earlier cancer journey, which she shares to help the next breast cancer sister.
