The author's emotional adventures take him from a life of single hedonism, to serial monogamy, marriage, divorce, and out through an open window into a sophisticated world of international connectedness where he meets an unexpected new love. Through the travel and turmoil, the author has worked as a bank clerk, draftsman, taxi driver, highway surveyor, gardener, property caretaker, night auditor, and delivery driver. As an observant vagabond, he has gained valuable insights into life, and he hopes the reader will hang on for the ride as he stumbles toward enlightenment.

Autorenporträt

W.R. Woodbury was born and raised in Canada, but spent much of his young adult life travelling to Greece, Italy, Spain, England, Germany, and Australia. He has been writing on and off for forty years and once sent a few youthful novels to UK publishers but given his peripatetic lifestyle at the time, it was impossible to follow through. When he returned permanently to Canada twenty years ago, he made forays into painting and photography while working as a hotel manager. He has also worked as a librarian, forest-fire fighter, quantity surveyor, banker, tour guide, night auditor, taxi driver, landscaper, postman, ranch hand, porn actor, stained glass artisan, draftsman, and courier driver. In the last five years he has begun writing seriously again.
