Autorenporträt
Carlos Olivares is a Chilean Adventist pastor who obtained his Ph.D. in biblical studies from the University of Auckland (New Zealand). His area of interest is the New Testament, in particular the Gospel of Matthew, hermeneutics, and the Book of Revelation. His publications include several journal articles, both in Spanish and English, as well as a contribution to Elaine Mary Wainwright¿s The Gospel According to Matthew: The Basileia of the Heavens Is Near at Hand (2014). Currently, Dr. Olivares is New Testament Lecturer at the Universidad Adventista de Bolivia (Bolivia). He is also a visiting lecturer at Universidad Peruana Unión (Perú) and Universidad Adventista del Plata (Argentina), where he teaches at the postgraduate level.
