Muditha Warnasuriya holds a doctorate in education and has authored several books in this field. These are Parents Matter: How Parent Involvement Impacts Student Achievement, Teaching Mathematics in the Middle School Classroom: Strategies that Work, and Professional Development and the Mathematics Educator. This is her first children's book. She is a wife and a mother of two young children-Melissa and Michael. She is a middle and junior high educator and currently resides in Baldwin Park, California.
