Being a wife and a mother, I gave up work to care for my family, which was a joy but when all left 'the nest', there was a huge empty space that I couldn't remember how to fill. I realised there was something missing from my life - myself, and what makes me feel alive. I have always loved travel, back packed around Europe in my early twenties and love a good adventure. Joining a close friend on the trip of a life time in Nepal, opened the door to wonderful new opportunities, many of which I thought I would never see or feel again; writing was one such opportunity. I decided to write about my journey of self-renewal, with the hope it will help others to never give up on themselves or their life.
