Autorenporträt
Christopher Lyman McDermott has a degree from The University of California in English Literature. His life has been enriched by a love of words that began with his early learning of the spoken poetry of "High Flight." He has been a teacher, public speaker, poet, storyteller, steel worker, millwright, engineer and adventurer. He has enjoyed teaching students of all ages using the poem "High Flight." Chris and his wife Janet live in Northern California. Sarah Battles Franklin is a graduate of Green Meadow Waldorf School with a B.S. in elementary education from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo. Sarah lives with her family in Western New York and teaches at the Aurora Waldorf School where the recitation of poetry is part of every day.
