The results indicated that the rhizosphere soils of the study area inhabit phosphate solubilizing bacteria with great potential to be used as the commercial production of phosphatase enzymes. The phosphate solubilizing bacteria was composed of Bacillus sp., Micrococcus sp. and with a lone of Pseudomonas sp. Both Bacillus sp. and Micrococcus sp. were noted to produce phosphatase at neutral pH and at 450 C with the exception of Bacillus sp. PS 25. Probably this bacterium is secreting alkaline phosphatase that has temperature optima at 350 C.
