Jeffrey Thompson, 47 year-old over-the-road truck driver was trying to get home to spend Labor Day weekend with his wife and stepson. He handed the stationmaster his log which showed he had eight hours rest since his last run. Even though he figured he had rested well enough behind the steering wheel of his 18-wheeler, he convinced himself to find a motel in the next town and get some sleep. He rubbed his eyes. Cecelia lives in south Kansas City and has been married to her husband, Paul for over 40 years. Paul and Cecelia are the Children's Directors at First A/G in Raytown, MO. They also work with 5-6 year old boys on Wednesday night in a program called Royal Rangers. They have 2 grown children, a son and daughter, and three granddaughters.
