Jeffrey Thompson, 47 year-old over-the-road truck driver was trying to get home to spend Labor Day weekend with his wife and stepson. He handed the stationmaster his log which showed he had eight hours rest since his last run. They also work with 5-6 year old boys on Wednesday night in a program called Royal Rangers. They have 2 grown children, a son and daughter, and three granddaughters.
