Autorenporträt

Joseph Grassi did his graduate biblical studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. His scripture teaching has been at Maryknoll Seminary, Drew University Theological School, Marquette University and finally Santa Clara University. Now in retirement, as Professor Emeritus he teaches courses in Santa Clara's Osher Life-Long Learning program. The latest among his twenty five books was Jesus is Shalom: A Vision of Peace from the Gospels in 2006. He now enjoys team teaching wiht his wife Carolyn in classes about the Jesus of Laughter and the biblical spirituality of ageing.
