Brett Hoffstadt has deep and passionate roots in aerospace engineering with two degrees, three patents, and over two decades of industry experience during which he regularly volunteered with and mentored others in the community.

His first book, published in 2014, is How To Be a Rocket Scientist: 10 Powerful Tips to Enter the Aerospace Field and Launch the Career of Your Dreams. Since then, he has created and published dozens of books for adults and children on STEM and STEAM topics such as drones, smart cities, cyber security, space exploration, Tesla automobiles, and SpaceX. He currently lives in northern California with his wife, two children, and a dynamic number of four-legged pets.
