Autorenporträt
Completing this novel is an absolute joy for a number of reasons. One, it allows me to keep my promise to the Christies Cancer Hospital who saved my life a number of years ago, after sustaining two forms of cancer. I made a promise I would write three books, with all monies from each book going to the hospital, this being the third. Another reason I am so thrilled at this book's completion - as a young girl, I left school, basically, as the school dummy. No one all those years ago knew or understood what being dyslexic meant and how devastating it can affect ones life. The thrill of knowing that, for the present, I am the only lady author from my town, and the only author my school has ever produced. Should you be dyslexic, please please never stop trying to write, no matter how long it may take.
