Autorenporträt

Author Hans Hämmig started writing in the 1950s. Some of his pieces include short stories, magazine articles, professional papers, and influential columns. In 1985, he emigrated to South Africa. He wrote his first novel in 1988, and has completed a few more since. Having become poor and living in the bush with no electricity, no cell phone, and no computer, his work was unknown, but now he has appeared on the radar screen. Gods of the Earth, his latest book, is a ground-breaking spiritual book.
