Alan G. Padgett is a United Methodist minister and theologian. He is professor of systematic theology and chair of the history-theology division at Luther Seminary. Author and editor of nine books and over ninety academic articles and chapters, Professor Padgett is co-editor with Beth Felker Jones of the Distinguished Dissertations in Christian Theology series of Pickwick Publications (an imprint of Wipf and Stock Publishers).
