Katarzyna Bonda is the most popular crime writer in Poland. Her two series, the Hubert Meyer trilogy and The Elements of Sasza Zaluska are both massive bestsellers and have sold well over two million copies. She has also written true crime - Polish Murderesses and An Imperfect Crime as well as a creative writing manual Type Writer. Girl at Midnight received the Readers' Award at the 2015 International Crime Festival in Wroclaw, while The White Mercedes won the 2015 Empik Bestseller Award.
