Autorenporträt
The author has been fascinated by the Galápagos marine iguanas since his school days. This photo book was created over a period of about six years. During this time the author visited the islands seven times for several months each and has been working scientifically at the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz. He is biologist and professor of dentistry, and lives currently in Germany and Sweden.
