Family pets are a constant and endearing feature of family life for many and they are treated as integral family members. Frank's first year was peppered with the usual puppy indiscretions: chewing, leaping at visitors and eating everything he could find. So, puppy day-care duties and training took on new urgency as naughty puppy, Frank, needed to learn more 'manners' prior to the arrival of the baby. That training continues! Readers of this book are invited to enjoy Frank the puppy introducing the immediate family, including other animals, and dreaming of the things they will do together as they both grow up. The book was conceived as a result of a request to 'bring a book to the baby shower to start the baby library'. The new arrival was to be author's first grandchild, which meant the book had to be something special and unique.
