Autorenporträt
Fredrick Gonzales is excited to bring you Book II in the further "Adventures of Freddy from the Pond." He is busy working as an educator as a U.S. History teacher and as a Department Chair for his Social Studies Department. His illustrations continue to impress as he creates his own distinct style which is different from what is being seen in current children's picture books. His use of watercolors, pen & ink, and digital art make for a wonderful mix of traditional and modern techniques. Mr. Gonzales has degrees both in History and in Art and is also a U.S. Army & Texas National Guard Veteran/Retiree (Combat Medic) having completed two tours of duty in Iraq. He is looking forward to continuing the series and adding new and interesting characters to Freddy's life in the Pond. He lives in Corpus Christi, Texas with his wife, two cats, and his dog.
