Autorenporträt
Christiana Guarino began writing poetry and short stories at a very young age. Two of her short stories were published in a youth magazine, "Young Voices," while she was attending elementary school. She also received two youth diversity awards due to her poetry and a play written to promote cultural diversity. She graduated from Northwest Christian High School in 2007 and received honors for her academic achievement in music and writing. She has co-authored with her mother, Linda Mata, the books: Roads and Reminiscences, Flower in Bloom, and Upon the Stars. She is also the author of a book of inspirational poetry entitled "Evening Shadows." She has been featured in "Who's Who in Poetry 2005' and "Madison's Who's Who.' She is currently attending her senior year in a University, was married in 2011, and has a beautiful little daughter. Linda Mata began writing poetry while attending elementary school and received her first recognition for her poem entitled "Song of the Courageous Pioneer" while in middle school. She has since earned two master's degrees and still enjoys writing. In addition to serving as co-author for 3 books with her daughter, she is the author of, "Summit in the Horizons," a book of poems, and her most recent book, "Understanding Workplace Bullying." She has been featured in Who's Who in American Women, "Madison Who's Who, "Famous Poets of the Western World," Prominent Voices in Poetry," and Who's Who in Poetry 2005.
