Lassal's work on Fingeralphabet.org has earned her a nomination for The German Prize for Civic Engagement 2013.
Autorenporträt
Born in Germany, Lassal spent the better part of her childhood in Brazil. Lassal first worked as an academic assistant of economics and computer animation, before gaining a reputation as a concept and storyboard artist, turning words and abstract ideas into images and sequences. At present she is dedicating herself intensely to her charity project Fingeralphabet.org, which you can, if you wish to do so, support by buying one of the books of the Fingeralphabet-Series. Lassal currently lives in Germany.
