Jörn Keck is a former Ambassador to Japan of the EU Commission. Dimitri Vanoverbeke is Professor of Japanese Studies at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Franz Waldenberger is Professor of Japanese Economy at the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, Germany.
