I addressed the beauty of love, life, heartbreak, death and many other subjects. Each poem I collected over a long span of time. The unique poems talk to the readers on different levels. I titled the book "Ethereal Paradise" because the poems I selected causes the reader to extend beyond themselves, and grasp that higher elation that my poems have to offer. Poetry to me is similar to a young wife: she is a beauty and full of mystery. The further our love goes, the deeper I fall in love with her. Today I can say I have almost thoroughly understood her mystic personality. My grandmother inspired me to write poetry. Her relationship with God to me was somewhat poetic. She also intrigued me to acknowledge the presence of God. I have lived in North Carolina all my life. Alamance County and Caswell County were the regions I grew up in.
