Andrew M. Barton is Professor of Biology at the University of Maine in Farmington and author of The Changing Nature of the Maine Woods. William S. Keeton is Professor of Forest Ecology and Forestry, and serves as the chair of the forestry programat the University of Vermont in Burlington.
