Gabriela Casellato is a psychologist and psychotherapist. Master's degree and PhD from the Clinical Psychology Program at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Co-founder, professor, and supervisor of 4 Estações Instituto de Psicologia. Coordinator of the specialization and improvement course in Theory, Research, and Intervention in Grief Situations and of the specialization and improvement course in Psychological Interventions Based on the Attachment Theory at the same institute. Visiting professor of the specialization course in Palliative Care at hospitals Sírio Libanês and Albert Einstein. Executive advisor and supervisor of NGO Pais em Luto. Editor of the book Dor silenciosa ou dor silenciada? - Perdas e lutos não reconhecidos por enlutados e sociedade (Silent pain or silenced pain? - Unrecognized losses and grief by the bereaved and society; Polo Books, 2013). Editor of the book O resgate da empatia: suporte psicológico ao luto não reconhecido (The rescue of empathy: psychological support for disenfranchised grief; Summus, 2015) and author of several chapters in books on the subject of grief.
