Wissenschaftlicher Aufsatz aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Schiffstechnik, Schiffsbau, Ozeantechnik, , Veranstaltung: Bionik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: The idea of the DARCY transformation is inspired by the work of D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson. In general, transformations are performed "top-down" by applying and resolving an existing transformation rule, which is supported by specific parameters to a transformation task. In the present case, however, we do not know this transformation rule. So the task remains to quantify the parameters of the transformation, initially unresolved. The transformation approach allows mapping of given motif structures from orthogonal Cartesian coordinate systems in curvilinear coordinate systems.
