Autorenporträt
Gary Jason was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in Los Angeles, CA. He attended UCLA as undergraduate, earning Bachelor's degrees in both Physics and Philosophy. He then attended the University of Illinois, where he earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy, with an emphasis in the History and Philosophy of Science. He subsequently earned an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University. Jason has taught Philosophy for over thirty years, and is currently an adjunct Philosophy professor at California State University, Fullerton, where he teaches critical thinking, logic and business ethics. He is also the owner of a telecom agency, Global Access Telecom. He is the author of several books, including Critical Thinking: Developing and Effective Worldview, Introduction to Logic, and The Logic of Discovery. He has also published roughly six hundred academic and trade articles, book reviews, movie reviews, and opinion editorials.
