Sharon Dexter is a retired elementary school teacher with over 30 years of experience ranging from grade two through grade size. She has been an Elder of her church, works with various ministries, and co-teaches Leadershi0p Training classes. She and her husband, Gerry, live in a small town in Wisconsin. She wrote the devotional 52 Favorite Verses (Old Testament) and offered it to her congregation, the Chapel on the Hill (a small non-denominational church.) she has published short stories and poems for young children, teens, and adults, appearing in a variety of magazines and Sunday take-home papers. She has written the devotional I Will Not Be Silent (Westbow Press), and the book of poetry Surrender to the Silence (eLectio Publishing).
