1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 says you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. For centuries churches under the cross gave Holy Communion to evil kings, to evil nobles, to evil slave traders etc. We can find lots of churches today which violate 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29.

If you are sitting on a park bench and a kid asks you how he can attain Heaven and escape perdition, well, if you direct him to a false church or to a false religion, to things which lead people to perdition, then you are destroying that kid, you're leading him to perdition! Heretics - people who lead others to perdition - will be destroyed. They will go to perdition.

Let's examine in some detail why it is irrational to promote more than one church.

King Charles, for example, goes to Hyde Park and evangelizes to the commoners. He's telling the crowds that the Church of England is God's True Church which leads people to Heaven. And he is saying all other churches are false churches: he is saying all other churches are lost in heresy, and so they drag people down to eternal perdition. He meets Roman Catholics and Lutherans and Baptists etc who are offended by his preaching. Not liking the animosity he gets from these other Christians, from people who hate his message that only the Church of England leads people to Heaven, and every other Christian denomination is a false church which drags people down to eternal perdition, King Charles is tempted to capitulate under the pressure. He is tempted to say the Church of England, along with the Roman Catholic Church, and the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Presbyterians, the Mormons, the Pentecostals etc., are all churches which lead people to Heaven.

But it is crazy to promote more than one church. Why so?

Either the Church of England leads people to Heaven or else the Church of England leads people to perdition. The Church of England is either God's True Church, recall Matthew 16. 13-19, or else the Church of England is a false church.

Now if the Church of England leads people to perdition, if it is lost in heresy, if it is a false church, then when King Charles tells people the Church of England will lead them to Heaven - when it will lead them to perdition! - then King Charles is leading people to perdition, so he is an heretic. Heretics go to perdition, not to Heaven.

On the other hand, if the Church of England leads people to Heaven, if it is God's True Church, then King Charles should promote only the Church of England. He would be taking a foolish risk if he promoted other churches along with the Church of England. His eternal soul will go to perdition if one or more of these other churches he is promoting is a false church. If you tell people that a specific church will lead them to Heaven, when in fact that church will drag them down to eternal perdition, then you are a heretic - you are leading people away from Heaven and to perdition - therefore you are a heretic - and so you will go to perdition if you never repent, but remain a heretic.

So, which Church is the True Church? And which churches are false churches?

When these 3 angels from Heaven mentioned in Revelation 14. 6-11 show up they will tell everyone on Earth how to find the True Church.

But if you are delusional, if you come to believe these 3 angels from Heaven are 3 angels from Hell, then you are making a hellish mistake, and will end up in Hell.

And when the Antichrist and the False Prophet show up, well, if they succeed in deceiving you, and convince you they are angels from Heaven, then they will lead you to Hell.
