Autorenporträt
About the Author Leonora DiLullo, originally from Yonkers, a suburb of New York City, spent six months on bedrest during her second pregnancy and nine months during her third. She spent this time writing books that she could share with her children. She enlisted the help of her sister, Brenda Burgard, to illustrate these books. DiLullo now lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and three grown children, where she works as a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker and Clinical Laboratory Technologist. About the Illustrator Always a talented artist, Brenda Burgard was asked by her sister, Leonora DiLullo, to illustrate a number of children's books. Being careful to capture what the author had envisioned, Burgard created a set of colored illustrations designed to express the humorous mood of the story. Also originally from Yonkers, New York, Burgard now resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband and two grown sons.
