Nicole Radziwill is Senior Vice President of Quality and Strategy at Ultranauts, a professional services firm specializing in quality assurance and quality engineering for software, data science, and digital transformation. Formerly VP of the Global Quality and Supply Chain Practice at Intelex Technologies in Toronto, and a tenured Associate Professor of Data Science and Production Systems, she is a fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), editor of Software Quality Professional, and a past chair of the ASQ Software Division. She regularly serves as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA), and has contributed to the development of ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility. Nicole has a PhD in Quality Systems and an MBA; she is an ASQ Certified Manager of Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). She does research at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and business value. She has 25 years of experience in quality management and data science, from building numerical weather prediction models and new observing systems in meteorology, to enterprise software implementation for telecom and high-tech, to managing big data and analysis pipelines for astronomical research. Her 2019 book, Statistics (The Easier Way) With R, 3rd Edition (Tidyversion), has been used for undergraduate and graduate courses in more than 30 schools in 13 countries.
