Dr Lina P Varotsi was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, and spent 17 years in the Film Industry and Higher Education sectors in the UK. In June 2020, she repatriated to Greece to accept the position of Lifelong Learning & Academic Development Director at Hyphen SA. She holds a PhD in English & Creative Writing, a Master's Degree in Practical Filmmaking, and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Mass Media Communications. She is a novelist and independent academic researcher, and her areas of interest lie within creative writing theory, creative processes theory, and the implementation of creative writing in education, cultural studies, socio-linguistics and theory of mind.
