Join Molly as she sets out to find her runaway daughter Lucille and her friend Runaround Sue. Along the way she meets up with and gives a lift to Bobby, who is on the road again and running away from a secret love he left in Kansas City. She also runs into some other old friends; Running Bear, Yokomo and Long Tall Sally who point her in the right direction to where her daughter is heading. Running Bear and Yokomo own a small motel and gas station near Wolverton Mountain also known as the Mountain of Love and it is there where Yokomo tells Molly and Bobby of the strange things that happen quite often around that area.
