He finds another little tree beside him named Fern and both become great friends. Unfortunately, they are dug up, and they end up in different gardens in pots. Autorenporträt
The author was born in Plymouth in 1966. He has an older brother and younger twin brother and sister. His father served in the Royal Navy, so they travelled around a bit, including spending two years in Hong Kong, which was very exciting and where Paul's younger brother and sister were born. They returned to Plymouth and settled down in the house of Paul'smother, who was a sister at a paediatric ward and still lives there today. Paul went to Hyde Park School but was more interested in art than academic subjects, especially abstract art. He has drawn several pictures but once he left school, he went to work rather than joining an art college, which he regrets to a certain extent. His interests are writing, playing Scrabble as he likes his words, art, David Attenborough's DVDs, cycling and DIY. He has had an interest in writing for the past thirteen years and has a vivid imagination. He enjoys writing when an idea comes into his head; it just flows, and he can't wait for A Christmas Tree Called Russell to get published so that he can work on the sequel.
