Pedro Nueno is a technical architect and industrial engineer and doctor of business administration from Harvard University. He is also Professor of IESE and he was the founder and is currently the Honorary President of CEIBS (with campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra and Zurich), Asia's leading business school. He was member of the Visiting Committee of the Harvard Business School for six years (2005-2011). He is the founder of Finaves, a venture capital fund based in IESE that has launched more than 40 companies with more than 3,000 direct jobs. He is the author of 21 books translated into di erent languages. He has received numerous distinctions such as the Creu de Sant Jordi (Saint Jordi Cross) of the Government of Catalonia (2003), the Silver Magnolia Award and the Golden Magnolia Award of the Government of Shanghai (2007), the Friendship Award of the Government of China (2009), the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Government of China (2014) and the Encomienda de Número de la Orden de Isabel la Católica del Reino de España (Commander by Number of the Order of Isabella the Catholic of the Kingdom of Spain) (2015). He is also the author of numerous books, including Thank You, China (2017), Retired. And Now What?
